【前言】 春回大地，万物复苏。公盟教育（CEA）日前在 Quincy 成功举办了“2026年问题赌博意识宣传月舞会”。我们用四个小时的热歌劲舞，与社区长者及居民一同迎接春天，传递关怀与希望。

【Foreword】

As spring returns and nature awakens, Civic Education Alliance (CEA) recently hosted the "2026 Problem Gambling Awareness Month Gala" in Quincy. We welcomed the spring season with four hours of vibrant song and dance alongside our senior community and local residents, spreading care and hope.

Event Highlights: Songs and Dances Filling the Heart

活动当天，现场气氛热烈。感谢每一位表演者的倾情投入，让这场宣传月活动充满了生命力：

The atmosphere was electric throughout the event. We are deeply grateful to every performer whose passion brought this awareness month activity to life:

跨文化合唱： May 与印度友人 Mohini 联袂献唱《Love Me Tender》，跨越国界的旋律动人心弦。

Cross-Cultural Duet: May and our Indian friend Mohini performed "Love Me Tender" together, with melodies that transcended borders and touched every heart.

曼妙舞姿： 小萍和 Lucy 带来的《黄玫瑰》优雅大方；随后小萍带领的全场集体舞，更是带动了三分之二的观众走入舞池，欢笑声不断。

经典演绎： 潘仁杰与 Lucy 合作《男儿当自强》，展现飒爽英姿；雷公以台山话独特演绎《赌博歌》，寓教于乐。

Graceful Dances: Xiaoping and Lucy performed an elegant rendition of "Yellow Rose." Later, Xiaoping led a group dance that brought two-thirds of the audience onto the dance floor in a moment of shared joy.

Classic Performances: Pan Renjie and Lucy showcased heroic spirit in "A Man Should Better Himself," while Lei Gong gave a unique and educational performance of the "Gambling Song" in Taishanese.

招牌传情： 潘鑑成与 Lisa Tong 演唱了公盟招牌歌曲《赌徒故事》，深刻触动人心。

义工力量： 感谢新星林校长、黄老师及全体义工的无私奉献，正是你们的默默支持，才有了活动的圆满成功。

Signature Stories: Frank Poon and Lisa Tong performed CEA’s signature song, "The Gambler’s Story," which deeply resonated with the audience.

The Power of Volunteers: Special thanks to Principal Lin, Teacher Huang, and our entire volunteer team. Your selfless dedication made this successful event possible.

在活动的感人时刻，大家手持烛光。这点点烛光，象征着每个人心中的关怀；凝聚在一起，便能照亮社区，打造和平与幸福。

此次活动旨在提高大家对问题赌博的认识。我们提醒社区成员：

警惕沉迷： 认识到赌博成瘾往往在不经意间发生，后果可能非常严重。

及时求助： 若您或身边的朋友陷入困境，请记住，公盟教育随时为您提供支持与协助。

公民参与： 我们也借此机会分享了心理健康挑战的知识，并强调了公民投票及了解自身权利的重要性。

During a touching moment of the event, everyone held a lit candle. These individual sparks symbolize the care in our hearts; when gathered together, they light up the community to create peace and happiness.

The goal of this event was to increase awareness of Problem Gambling. We reminded our community members to:

Be Vigilant of Addiction: Recognize that gambling addiction often happens unintentionally and can lead to severe consequences.

Seek Help Early: If you or a friend are in difficulty, remember that CEA is always here to provide support and assistance.

Civic Engagement: We also took this opportunity to share knowledge on mental health challenges and emphasized the importance of civic voting and understanding your rights.
